As a company with deep roots in Ansbach, the Eckart Group has actively taken responsibility for the region for many years. Whether social initiatives, cultural support, educational projects, or animal welfare, we consciously engage where help is needed.
Our goal is clear: create opportunities, strengthen community, and help shape the future.
Under the motto “No One Stays Behind”, the Eckart Group is supporting several secondary schools in Ansbach this year. A total of €7,000 has been donated to enable children and young people to take part in class trips, project days, and other important school activities that might otherwise be unaffordable for financial reasons.
As a family-owned company with strong regional roots, promoting equal opportunities and strengthening social cohesion is a key concern for us. “Shared experiences outside the classroom often shape young people for a lifetime. No one should have to miss out on them for financial reasons,” emphasizes Managing Director Frank Eckart.
Each of the following schools received €500: Platen-Gymnasium, Theresien-Gymnasium, Gymnasium Carolinum, Johann-Steingruber Realschule, the Business School, Friedrich-Güll School, Luitpold School, the Montessori School, and the Evangelical School. The schools themselves decide where the support is most urgently needed.
In addition, other organizations such as the Flachslanden Volunteer Fire Department, Lions International, and the theatre group Kommando Grimm were supported this year. With this initiative, the Eckart Group continues its long-standing tradition of sustainably supporting social projects in the Ansbach region.
In 2024, under the guiding theme “Bringing Light to Ansbach,” the company donated a total of €5,000 to five regional projects. On each Sunday of Advent and on Christmas Eve, one donation was presented:
This initiative was a clear statement of solidarity and regional diversity.
In 2023, the holiday season once again focused on solidarity. A total of €6,500 was donated to the following institutions:
A highlight was the personal presentation of the donation check to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department by Managing Director Frank Eckart. The contribution funded important items such as a sunshade, playground equipment, and materials for art therapy – improvements that help make everyday life a little brighter for young patients.
Easter campaign for our employees
It has already become an Easter tradition: We support the Ansbach Lions Club by buying Easter eggs for our employees. With the campaign "Brotzeit für den guten Zweck" (snack for a good cause) the Lions Club Ansbach helps social institutions for children and young people in the region. Especially after the Corona period, an enormous need for support has arisen here.
The Eckart Group has been actively involved in the Lions Clubs of Ansbach for many years. Through funding projects, social initiatives, and cultural activities, the Lions make a valuable contribution to supporting people in need.
Our involvement helps ensure that regional assistance is implemented directly and effectively – for a strong and compassionate Ansbach.
